The party was well attended by little princesses in kindergarten through fourth grade, NORA staff said. Many princesses attended with their moms, grandmas, aunts and sisters. They had the opportunity to meet some of their favorite fairy tale princesses, do crafts and play princess games such as “Ariel’s Treasure Hunt.”
They also got “Princess makeovers” by Careerline Tech Center cosmetology students from Tulip City Beauty College in Holland. The students volunteered their time and were able to gain experience with the supervision of instructor Heidi Tarman.
Several Grand Haven High School and White Pines Intermediate School students made special appearances dressed as Disney princesses, while other volunteers helped decorate Friday night and Saturday morning.
NORA will be offering other events in the coming months, including a Mother-Daughter Tea Party in April, along with Magic Mom & Me Night and Rock ‘n’ Bowl, both in May. For more information, visit nora.ghaps.org or call 616-850-5125.
