"We are excited about the opportunity to team up with our neighboring institutions for such a noble cause," Hope College coach Greg Mitchell said. "This has been such a challenging time throughout our country, it feels great that we can come together and make a significant contribution. Credit to the NCAA for allowing teams to seize this opportunity.
"I'm hopeful West Michigan shows up to make it a highly successful event. In addition, the game gives us a chance to get a glimpse of where we stand as a team against an outstanding program like GVSU."
At DeVos Fieldhouse, Calvin will face Davenport at 6 p.m. and Hope will play GVSU at 8 p.m.
Basketball tickets are good for both games and will be general seating. They cost $10 for adults and senior citizens, and $5 for all students. There is a maximum charge of $25 for immediate families.
