Poet-photographer shows off West Michigan's nature

• Sep 13, 2016 at 5:00 PM

Richard Havenga likens his blog to a “walk with Father Nature.”

The West Michigan man includes his own poetry attached to his photos of the area’s interesting nature.

In his latest blog, he includes a shot of Pickerel Lake Park at the Meijer Nature Preserve in Kent County with the poem called “Still.”

“Do you still listen — to the rain — like you did — as a child?”

Check out the rest of his blog: “Walk With Father Nature.”
