Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.
The public is invited. Local chefs will prepare their booths in the morning and chili sampling begins at noon. Judging starts at 1 p.m. and awards will be presented at 3 p.m.
Chili samples will be available for 50 cents each or three for $1.
Local musicians will provide entertainment throughout the day.

Categories include: Hot & Spicy, Meek & Mild, and White Chili. Spectators are also invited to vote for the People’s Choice award.
Cecilia Lane is located near the intersection of West Spring Lake Road and 168th Avenue, just off the Smith’s Bayou bridge.
The Folds of Honor Foundation provides educational support for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving their country.
