Several egg hunts offered

Colorful eggs will dot the landscape across the Tri-Cities on Saturday as several churches and organizations host Easter egg hunts. 

They include: 

• Community Easter Egg Hunt: 11 a.m. at Central Park in downtown Grand Haven. Open to ages 10 and younger. More than 6,000 eggs will be given away. Bring your camera for pictures with the Easter bunny.

• Spring Lake Central Park: 10 a.m. Open to kids up to age 10. More than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes.

• Grand Haven Gospel Chapel: 10 a.m. at 1805 Waverly Ave. Open to kids up to age 10. Thousands of eggs filled with candy and toys. No pre-registration is required, but parents can call 616-846-1940 with any questions. Coffee and hot cocoa is offered free while supplies last.

• Salvation Army: 1 p.m. at 303 N. Despelder St., Grand Haven. Sponsored by The Eastern Star. 

• Hope Reformed Church: 10 a.m. at 14932 Mercury Drive, Grand Haven Township. Open to ages 2 through fourth grade. Pre-registration is recommended and available at www.hopegh.com.
