An FPU class will beginning Jan. 17 at the United Methodist Church of the Dunes, 717 Sheldon Road in Grand Haven. It will take place each Sunday from 9:45-11:15 a.m., and nursery will be available.
“We are excited about the opportunity to offer another FPU class to the Tri-Cities community,” said Kris DeVries, director of adult ministries at Church of the Dunes. “There have been over 2.7 million persons who have attended the classes (nationally), and the average family sees an $8,000 financial turnaround in the first 90 days by paying off debt and creating, and retaining, savings.”
Participants must register for the class online at daveramsey.com/fpu/classfinder or by contacting the church.
“Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small-group activities, FPU presents practical steps for anyone to get from where they are to where they've dreamed they could be,” said Nancy Wagner, class leader at Church of the Dunes. “And it’s fun. This is not a stuffy, non-applicable economics class, nor is it overly simplistic. And no one is asked to reveal any personal information or obligated to take any action. It’s a great class, and I truly enjoy sharing this with others, no matter what age or stage they are, and seeing how it transforms their lives.”
The cost for the class is $102, which includes shipping and materials that you get to keep: CDs, a workbook, study book, plus a Lifetime Membership. One membership can be used by you and your spouse.
