Two Grand Haven women suffered minor injuries in a crash shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Taylor Avenue and Ferry Street.

A Honda being driven by a 57-year-old Grand Haven woman blew through a stop sign at the intersection, according to an officer from the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety, and crashed into a Kia Soul.

A 50-year-old Grand Haven woman was driving the Kia south on Ferry and stopped at the intersection, which is a four-way stop, before proceeding. The Honda was westbound on Taylor.

Both vehicles went off the southwest side of the road after the crash.

Both women were checked by North Ottawa Community Hospital paramedics at the scene.
