Summer events at Lakeshore Fellowship

SPRING LAKE TWP. — Lakeshore Fellowship Church16790 Van Wagoner Road, has several community events planned for this summer.

The church will host a group of young-adult bikers known as Spoke Folk on Thursday, June 28. This group will present an interactive program that includes music, drama and puppets for all ages to enjoy.

Spoke Folk is a mission trip that trains high school and college students to be missionaries in their daily lives. The members of Spoke Folk represent many states. During their 12-day tour, they will bike to six communities, averaging 40 miles a day. Each evening, they share their musical program. The evening of music and fellowship on June 28 is open to the public at Lakeshore Fellowship, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a meal. Admission is free. A free-will offering will be taken.

Lakeshore Fellowship Church’s free vacation Bible school is July 9-13, from 6-8 each evening. It will be open to children going into kindergarten through fourth grade.

At “Splash Canyon VBS,” God’s children of all ages learn the good news that God is with us and keeps His promises to us on life’s wild ride. There will be water games, crafts, special treats and Bible lessons. You must register your child online at www.lakeshorefellowship.com.

Lakeshore Fellowship Church will host Worship in the Park at Pomona Park in Fruitport at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 29. It is open to the public. Bring your lawn chair or lawn blanket. The park is located at the southwest corner of Third and Park streets. Parking is allowed on the streets as well as the parking lot. Refreshments will follow the service.
