Anonymous • Jul 21, 2015 at 10:57 AM

Deren will perform as an 1875 Great Lakes schooner captain, Bill Thomas. His performance is an interactive combination of storytelling and songs. Participants will learn about the beaver, lumber, iron, copper and fishing industries of Michigan’s past; and have an opportunity to tour the “Unsolved Mysteries: The Shipwreck Thomas Hume” exhibit at the Hackley & Hume Historic Site.

The cost of the program is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 12 and under, and includes admission to tour the site during the month of June.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased in advance at the Lakeshore Museum Center.
