New Harbor/Washington traffic signal one visible change downtown

According to Beaton, pedestrians will not get a crossing symbol or command without using the push buttons located at the corners of Washington and Harbor.

“They must push the button,” she said. “That’s how the signal ‘knows’ if it is being called by a vehicle or a pedestrian, or both.”
