The two have submitted their product to www.kickstarter.com, a website that allows people to pledge as little as $1 to help Cotton and Veele raise the $11,111 they need to get the Buckle Blocker manufactured. So far, the project has received pledges totaling $2,222.
Different donation levels have different rewards, and those who pledge $25 or more will receive the final version of the Buckle Blocker, according to the project website. The two have 28 days left to raise this amount; otherwise, they receive nothing at all, Cotton said.
If they achieve their goal, Cotton said they hope to sell the Buckle Blocker online at first, and later at retail stores.
