“There was a nice mix,” Janson said.

Janson said one of the highlights for him at this year’s show was a double-decked bus, once used in Scotland and now owned by a Grand Rapids-area man.

Funds raised during this year’s car show are going to benefit the Jaycees’ annual July Fourth fireworks show on Grand Haven’s waterfront.

Janson said while this year’s show was successful, they are already looking to make tweaks for future shows. In the future, he said he would like to get more import vehicles involved in the show from Germany and Japan.

Janson said he would also like to see a reduction in the number of categories for vehicles in the show. There were 45 classes in Sunday’s show.

“We have some work to do in refining classes,” Janson said. “In my opinion, we have a lot of classes right now.”
