Making it big may mean moving for local musician

The success of that single has Lionheart and his band now performing coast to coast. The band recently returned from a performance at Whiskey A Go-Go in West Hollywood, Calif., an establishment that has hosted such big name stars as Johnny Rivers, The Doors, Guns N’ Roses and Frank Zappa.

Next month, Lionheart will travel to New York City for more engagements.

“We are on the verge of making it big,” said Lionheart, who specializes in pop rock and adult contemporary music. “We’ve got a lot of momentum.”

But now Lionheart is faced with a decision over whether to relocate to a larger market such as Los Angles or Las Vegas.

His band went with him to Los Angeles — but Lionheart said some of his band members have families, and they don’t want to travel long distances and be away for extended periods of time.
