“We’re trying to keep it as affordable as possible,” he said. “We understand money is tight for a lot of people, so we’re very sensitive to that.”
New attractions this year include the Wolverine Pullers’ tractor pull at 7 p.m. Wednesday and the West Michigan Dirt Drags’ “Fastest Show on Dirt” at 7 p.m. Saturday. Both take place in the grandstand.
Alan said they are also extending bingo and Children’s Day this year, with bingo every night and Children’s Days on Tuesday and Thursday. He said both events have been very popular in the past.
“We’re really trying to help people stay close and have a lot of fun,” Alan said.
Tuesday is the first Children’s Day with $10 wristbands for unlimited rides all day at the carnival.
