“I would recommend it because it’s their loss if they don’t take advantage of a great opportunity of gourmet food brought to their house,” Vicki said. “They can sit back, watch their favorite movie, have a glass of wine and Chris does the rest.”
Chris McNinch owns the month-old business with her daughter, Erin McNinch-Gates.
McNinch said the idea came to them when her mother-in-law, who lives in Lansing, broke her hip. McNinch spent a week looking for a service that would deliver home-style meals to her mother-in-law, but couldn’t find anything.
“You can (order) curbside at a lot of restaurants, but you still have to go pick it up,” McNinch said.
The two spent nine months completely gutting and renovating the building before opening on June 16.
