“I’m honored to serve my residents, and doing my job means that I’m here for the discussions and the votes,” said Price, R-Park Township. “We have a lot of serious issues facing Michigan right now and we have made genuine progress on a lot of them. Am I proud to have a perfect record? Absolutely, because it means I am doing the job I was elected to do. I will continue efforts to turn Michigan around and bring jobs back to the state. The work certainly isn’t done.”
In the first six months of this term, legislators have reformed the state tax code, balanced the budget and placed checks on the welfare system to weed out waste, fraud and abuse.
Price’s own legislation renaming a portion of U.S. 31 the Medal of Honor Recipients Highway and cracking down on meth production were signed by the governor already this year.
