Ex-library employee fired in 2008 for book sues

A former Ludington library employee who was fired in 2008 for writing a book that describes a range of unpleasant patrons is suing.
The federal lawsuit claims “Library Diaries” author Sally Stern-Hamilton was “fired for engaging in protected speech.” in Grand Rapids.
Using the pen name Ann Miketa, Stern-Hamilton wrote the book she described as a fictional account based on her on-the-job experiences.
