On Wednesday, Aug. 24, the local museum’s “Our Woodland Ways” program will highlight Madeline LaFromboise, an Ottawa Indian who was the first female business owner in the Tri-Cities.
Children will learn about where Madeline grew up, what business she owned and about how she has been honored by the state of Michigan for her accomplishments.
This free program does not require advanced registration.
