Go to the site nearest your home or most convenient for you. You may only receive TEFAP commodities at one site per distribution. The commodities will be distributed only during the designated times indicated above — unless all commodities are distributed, at which point the site will close.

Eligible individuals must prove Ottawa County residency to receive The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) commodities. Income and family size are self-declared. Individuals who receive FIP (the old TANF) or SNAP (the old food stamps) are automatically eligible.

To receive commodities, household income (without any household member 60 years of age or older), must not exceed 130 percent of the poverty level. Maximum household income is as follows: $14,147 annually for a household of one, $19,123 annually for a household of two, $24,089 annually for a household of three, and $29,055 annually for a household of four. To determine the maximum income with more than four members in the household, add $4,966 for each additional member.

Households containing one or more members 60 years of age or older may have income up to 160 percent of the poverty level. Maximum household income is as follows: $17,424 annually for a household of one, $23,536 annually for a household of two, $29,648 annually for a household of three, and $35,760 annually for a household of four. To determine the maximum income for senior households with more than four members in the household, add $6,112 for each additional member.
