“I think its great its a great show,” Patterson said. “I’ve done the show for nine years now and it’s really supported by the community and the community really comes out to buy local artwork here.”

Patterson, who has been working with pottery for nearly 12 years, said that while there are other art shows in Grand Haven throughout the year, the waterfront show provided more local flavor.

“I think this is more of the local art show for Grand Haven, so it works out really well to have a smaller show where its a little more intimate to talk to the artists,” Patterson said. “And you know a lot more of the artists when you come out to the show.”
