The employees of GHSP in Grand Haven volunteer at least three times each year to control invasive species at Ottawa County’s Hemlock Crossing Park in Port Sheldon Township.
The public is invited to join them for a “adopt-a-park” work bee on Tuesday, Sept. 27. They will also be helping with other park improvement projects that evening.
Volunteers are asked to come to the park any time after 3:30 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be available at 5:30 p.m.
The event will be rescheduled in case of rain.
