GHAPS/Grand Haven to share technical service

The agreement states that GHAPS technology department employees will provide up to 30 hours per week in tech support — including “level one” help desk support, work station support, server level support and professional training, and as needed, strategic planning.

The city has been without a part-time or full-time information technology support person since March.

Doug Start, the school district’s director of technology, said there will likely be three to four GHAPS technology department employees working with the city. All school-owned equipment will remain within the district, as the staff will use city-owned equipment at their site.
