Jul 21, 2015 at 11:14 AM
The event will take place in Program Room A of the library, 407 Columbus Ave., from 7-8:30 p.m.
The book is a pictorial history of the West Michigan Pike, the first continuous road from Michigan City to Mackinaw City. This 400-mile stretch of road is sometimes called Michigan’s “Route 66.” The 248-page book is full of vintage postcards and photos of the lifestyle along its passage.
Books will be available for purchase following the program.
This program is presented by the Tri-Cities Historical Museum and Loutit District Library. For more information, visit www.loutitlibrary.org; or call 842-5560, ext. 214.
