Members and various organizations of the church at the corner of Sheldon at Robbins roads have joined forces with the church’s art committee to present an exhibit of 30 wreaths — and no two are alike.
“Circle of Joy: The Art of the Wreath” features wreaths of all sizes in a festive display. They range from sea glass, quilting, wood, hydrangea, music, drift wood, felted balls, antique Christmas ornaments, knitted, origami and more. Most were constructed for this display and will hang for the Advent, Christmas and Epiphany seasons — almost to the Lent season.
Discarded wooden doors obtained by the church’s art committee are used as a backdrop for wreaths provided by some of the church’s Sunday school classes.
Gallery hours for public viewing are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon Fridays, and immediately following Sunday worship services.
