Huizenga to host 2 ‘tele-town halls’ Wednesday

Anonymous • Jul 21, 2015 at 11:14 AM

The Zeeland Republican said he wants to hear from constituents on current events in the district and Washington — from the latest on the Supercommittee’s failure and what’s next, to efforts by Congress to cut spending and promote job creation, to the deficit and debt’s impact on the economy, as well as any other federal issues they’d like to discuss.

“Tele-town halls are a great way to reach out to many people at once, and I get the opportunity to hear from the tens of thousands of constituents on the line, as well as get live comments and feedback on the issues of the day,” Huizenga said.

Telephone Town Hall technology calls many households throughout the district, and allows constituents to ask Huizenga a question live just by pressing star + 3. To ensure you’re on the list to receive a call, call the congressman’s Holland office at 616-395-0030 and leave your name, county and phone number.

If you miss the call, you can find audio of the whole event the next day at http://huizenga.house.gov/.
