In her book, “If I Can’t Be At Your Feet,” Crystal Frakes Brown said Gunther shows how to make each moment count, “because tomorrow is promised to no one.”

Through his adventures — including fishing for salmon on Lake Michigan, going to a Jimmy Buffett concert, playing on beaches in Ludington and getting into the refrigerator anytime he is hungry — Gunther highlights the moments that really matter, Frakes Brown said.

“If I Can’t Be At Your Feet” is available for purchase at Old Boys’ Brewhouse in Spring Lake, Copies and More in Fruitport, Orchard Market in Fruitport, Fruitport Animal Hospital, and Just Dogs Gourmet and Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven. The book is also available online at bookstore.iUniverse.com.

Frakes Brown has scheduled two book-signing events in the area: at Old Boys’ Brewhouse from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9; and at  Must Love Dogs from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
