Anonymous • Jul 21, 2015 at 11:24 AM

It will take place at the Grand Haven Community Center, 421 Columbus Ave.

All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of Center for Women in Transition.

“It is always my intention to give back to the community, and the Center for Women in Transition in the Tri-Cities is a vibrant and hard-working agency to respond to and reduce domestic violence and sexual assault,” Donaylle Nicole said.

The food and fashion event will begin at 5:30 p.m. It will include live music, silent auction and hors d’oevres by Applebee’s of Grand Haven. Auction items have been donated by area artists and merchants.

The runway fashion show will begin at 6:30 p.m. About two-dozen local models in private designer fashions will be featured. Organizers said the styles will reflect the latest designs for men, women and children.

The new colors and trends for spring will be highlighted; and Nicole, the show’s creative director, will add commentary on hair, make-up and accessory coordination for the ensembles.

The audience is encouraged to wear white to the event to be part of the “White Icing”-inspired décor and theme, and wear their best “bling” for the “White Icing” contest.

Designers will be available to speak with attendees after the event.

Tickets are $40 per person. They may be purchased at Donaylle Nicole Hair Studio, 117 Washington Ave.; or online at www.dnhair.com.
