(2) The Bunny Train

Kids of all ages will enjoy this one hour and 20 minute excursion through the springtime countryside aboard the Coopersville & Marne Railway. The Easter Bunny and her cast of wacky, musical characters perform in each of the antique passenger coaches. These shows star local actress Angie Peavy, who has many credits — including "Snow White" at Disney World Resorts in 2003. The Springtime Princess will read children's books and lead the passengers in springtime songs. Kids will be given a surprise at the end of the ride.

(3) Santo Stefano Saturday Wine Tasting
Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Santo Stefano del Lago, 12 Washington Ave., downtown Grand Haven. Santo Stefano del Lago offers premier Italian gourmet foods, fine chocolates and confections, select wines and beers, Italian ceramics and unique giftware for entertaining, along with full service espresso and gelato bars. Wine tastings are free on Saturdays for those ages 21 and older.

(4) Pat McGee's "Third Coast Down the Hatch"
Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m., at Seven Steps Up, 116 S. Jackson St. in Spring Lake. Last year's solo acoustic performance by Pat McGee (Pat McGee Band) rocked the house for the second-ever Pin Drop Concert. McGee is back this weekend with longtime sidekick and singer/songwriter Patrick McAloon. Cash bar. A brunch with the artists is planned for Saturday morning.
(5) Butterflies Are Blooming 2012
Butterflies Are Blooming is Meijer Gardens' most popular annual exhibition and the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibit in the nation. It runs through April 30. Visitors can mingle with more than 6,000 tropical butterflies flying free in the 15,000-square-foot Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory. During the exhibition, the Lena Meijer Children's Garden offers special activities. Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It's at 1000 E. Beltline N.E., Grand Rapids.
