This free program is part of the library's series to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

In his new book, Buhk compiles true-life tales of both famous crimes from the Civil War and lesser-known atrocities — including murders, duels, counterfeiting and draft riots.

Buhk is the author of "True Crime: Michigan" as well as the co-author of two books on forensics.
