Snow, sleet, ice = slick roads

The National Weather Service office in Grand Rapids said snow will taper off overnight. A total accumulation of 3-6 inches is expected by daybreak.

Winds of 20-25 mph overnight will cause some blowing and drifting. Roads will be slippery for the morning commute.

The advisory area also includes Muskegon and Kent counties.

The forecast for the Grand Haven area:

Wednesday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 38. North-northeast wind 15 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New snow accumulation of less than 1 inch possible.
