Andy Davis had two hits for Grand Haven. Doug Zelenka added a run-scoring single.

Fruitport avenged an early-season loss to Whitehall by defeating the Vikings 14-0 in a mercy-shortened five-inning result on Thursday.

Trojans’ starter John Sullivan was rock-solid, as he allowed just two hits in the complete game effort.

Fruitpor (7-4 overall) scored in every inning and had nine players contribute a hit.

Junior Mike Reyes had one of the more impressive hits — a two-run home run over Whitehall’s left-centerfield fence. He finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs.

Cody Bayle also went 2-for-2 with two runs and three RBIs and Kyle Vandygriff added two hits.
