Reyes’ electric 71-yard run with two minutes remaining in the third quarter gave Fruitport some much-needed breathing room in a tight 7-0 contest, and the Trojans’ defense did the rest, completing its most dominating effort to date in the 21-0 shutout victory that spoiled Fremont’s Homecoming on a frigid and rainy evening and created a log jam atop the Lakes Eight Conference.
