The Bucs had four skiers place in the top eight in both the slalom and Giant Slalom, helping them win handily in the team standings.

Marina Olds couldn’t produce a pair of first-place finishes like she did during the first varsity meet, but came close, as she took first in the slalom and second in the G.S.

Trailing Olds in the slalom were Grand Haven’s Paige Reierson (fourth overall), Ally Price (fifth), and Hannah Rymal (eighth).

Price improved her standing to fourth in the G.S., while Reierson was seventh, and Rymal placed eighth. The Bucs also had solid runs from Lindy Vallier in 10th and Claire Pepper in 18th.

The Bucs’ boys slipped down a notch in the team standings compared to the opening conference meet, as Grand Haven settled for seventh in both the slalom and G.S.

Head coach Tim Graham said a trio of skiers turned in solid days, including Greg Page, Luke Walling and Kevin Stolarski.
