Plenty of questions to answer for Fruitport boys basketball

First-year coach Adam Anspach and the Fruitport varsity boys basketball team open their season on Tuesday with a home matchup against Ravenna.
Here are three questions the Trojans will look to answer as they kick off their season.
1. How successful can the Trojans be with no starters returning?
Make no doubt about it, this is a rebuilding year for the Trojans. With little experience on hand, Fruitport is going to take it's lumps. But how a program in transition responds and learns from those losses can set the tone for the future.
Fruitport has always been known as a tough, hard-working community and its athletes embody those qualities.
With a new coach in Anspach and many new players on the roster, there's no reason the basketball program can't begin the process of mirroring some of the school's more successful ones.
Improvement from early-season play on into the season should be the mark to judge this team by, not wins and losses.
