LANSING — Gov. Rick Snyder recently announced the appointments of Nick Carlson of Spring Lake and Denise Ludwig of Grand Rapids to the state Board of Speech Language Pathology.

The 11-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with regulating the licensure and practice of speech-language pathologists.

"Nick and Denise both have great experience, and I am confident they will serve this board well,” Snyder said.

They each will serve four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2021. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
