#11. The Nough Turd in Lansing, along with our state elected officials (led by Republicans) are planning to use the Michigan Rainy Day Fund, created to solve statewide issues like repairing roads and bridges, to bail out Detroit pensions to the tune of $194.8 million. You know, the pensions of public sector unions that persuaded Detroit's democrats to raise wages and benefits while paying them with contributions from members' dues. http://www.detroitnews.com/artic...

Who will be next - Flint? Benton Harbor?

#12. In addition to Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, refusing multiple Congressional requests to label Boco Haram as a terrorist organization for years, she took the same stand against labeling The Taliban as a terrorist organization despite Congressional demands that she do so. http://www.powerlineblog.com/arc...

Doesn't want to offend any Islamic terrorists, just like her boss, because they are such staunch defenders of women, minorities, and homosexuals?

13. Those of you who question and mock the concern about outside dark money influencing and hijacking elections: "The Koch brothers’ main political arm intends to spend more than $125 million this year on an aggressive ground, air and data operation benefiting conservatives, according to a memo distributed to major donors and sources familiar with the group.

The projected budget for Americans for Prosperity would be unprecedented for a private political group in a midterm, and would likely rival even the spending of the Republican and Democratic parties’ congressional campaign arms."

But they are not taking power away from the voters without a fight. The Battle of the Titans - 2014 Edition:

The establishment scored huge victories in primary races Tuesday. Their next potential target: Rep. Justin Amash. Members of the Meijers family, owners of the massive Midwest supermarket chain, are all in behind Brian Ellis, Amash’s Republican primary challenger. As are the political arms of Home Depot, Dow Chemical and the International Franchise Association.

The primary race is in the beginning stages of what could be an epic throwdown in August between the business community, usually reluctant to play in a Republican primary, and big conservative outsiders, including the Koch brothers and the Club for Growth, who are dumping money into Amash’s campaign."

Download the DVD "Vultures and Vote Rustlers" from a former gotcha investigative reporter Greg Palast who dug for Republican dirt for the Democratic party and consider what he proposes; there is no "D" or "R" within the super wealthy, they follow money, not party, not idealistic dreams for America only money.

Thanks. And the Supreme Court has just handed them the key to the estate. It's happening while we speak, and American citizens had better wake up and smell the coffee, get out and vote, and fight for the Republic.

#15. GET OUTTA HERE - OBAMA lies?

The latest Obama lie - Republicans have filibustered about 500 pieces of legislation that would help the middle class - Gains Four (The maximum number) of Pinocchios from the Washington Post Fact Checker.

Obama’s [filibuster] count also includes at least a half-dozen instances when Republicans were blocked by Democrats through use of the filibuster. In fact, in the biggest oddity, the president reached back to 2007 in making his claim, so he includes two years when he was still a senator. On eight occasions, he voted against ending debate—the very thing he decried in his remarks. http://www.washingtonpost.com/bl...

Of course, every day brings additional Obama and media lies about Obamacare http://www.weeklystandard.com/ar...

Great link, Vlad! Weekly Standard editor? Wm Kristol. 'Nuff said.

And what's with the "May 19, 2014" - Indicates an article written in advance of the future falsehoods that the author is positive will need to be refuted? Talk about media accuracy!

As for Obama's remark at a private fundraising event with supporters - are you claiming the Republicans have NOT filibustered (of filed cloture) pieces of legislation that would help the middle class since 2007? Be careful now - isn't this the exact strategy conservatives have supported, promoted and voted for?

Vladtheimp

1. Can't refute what was stated in the Weekly Standard so you question the source? What an informed and intellectual response!

2. Read the Washington Post link. Are you saying Obama didn't lie about this, or that it's O.K. for him to lie to democrat donors, or that it shouldn't have been made public because it was a private fundraising?

3. And you still haven't justified why democrats have been warned not to even use the word "Recovery" from the earlier link to the Huffington Post.

Lanivan

1. My response was precipitated by the teachings of Vladtheimp, who has demonstrated this slippery debate point of killing the source while ignoring the content with me multiple times. Thanks, Pops!!...... 8;->

And also because Wm Kristol is a schmuck, and the article was nothing but stoopid red meat to rile up the conservative base.

2. Read the link. So what? (yeah - I know - really does a difference it make?) To reiterate: Was Obama lying about the fact that Republicans have wasted tons of time and money filibustering against legislation that would benefit the middle class? Was Obama lying about the spirit behind unprecedented, record-breaking amounts of filibusters and cloture filings by Republicans that blocked legislation that would advance the middle class? And why are you appalled by Obama stating this when you should be cheering, shaking pom-poms, and dancing a jig that the Republicans managed to stop a whole bunch of legislation, which is ultimately the goal of conservatives throughout the country and beyond?

3. I called them schmucks, now didn't I? I'm not going to waste time justifying something stoopid. This whole recovery thing could easily be used to Dems' advantage, based on the teachings of Vladtheimp.
