Why didn't your #11 and #12 make the top ten? What nitwit compiles these at the Trib?

For the first time in 15 years, I listened to the Network (ABC) evening news last week. (I was hostage in front of the in-laws TV). The first 12 minutes detailed some inane story about a basketball team owner. THAT was the leading story in current events.

Bread and circuses.

Barry Soetoro

Yup. That's why I always say "bullets and ramen noodles".

#7, if an air bag fails to deploy under design conditions that warrant airbag deployment and that failure is due to a faulty electrical system design or mechanical issue the airbag was a victim of errors and is just along for the ride like the person rattling about during an accident. If the airbag would have deployed provided it was powered by a correctly functioning electrical system it is a design and quality issue with the electrical system, not the airbag.

#14. A few days ago, Republican strategist wonder boy and Super PAC fundraiser said this about possible presidential contender, Hillary Clinton:
The New York Post’s Page Six section on Monday reported that Rove made comments about Clinton’s health and suggested she might have suffered brain damage. In 2012, the former secretary of State had a blood clot that forced her to postpone her congressional testimony on the attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

“Thirty days in the hospital?” Rove reportedly said. “And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”

By the way, Hillary Clinton was in the hospital just three days.

At least he's not reading Green Eggs and Ham.

For a person who appears to give a lot of thought to politics (in spite of reaching the wrong conclusions), I think it is odd that you play into the whole Republican versus Democrat ruse. They are both grifters working the same con.

Conservatives handed Rove and his establishment Whigs their behinds yesterday.

Anybody who ever watched Hillary knows she was brain-damaged long before her recent spill.

I've been saying it for a long time...the "D" and "R" mean nothing anymore, they are all in bed with those that do not share the interests of the people that put them there and instead fallen (all but a few) into what looks like a turn toward socialism AKA progressive which has wormed their way into both major parties. Yes she carries the water for democratic cronies and their communistic ideals but at least she is consistent.

Lanivan

Harry - Even though your comment does not fall into a direct line of reply to me, I will assume it is meant for me. If not, please disregard.

I think it odd that after all this time, you would not have a better handle on why I have reached the conclusion that I do, how I have arrived at the conclusion that I have, and what motivates me to express this conclusion on these pages. Perhaps you don't read me. Besides, it lots of fun - I find Vlad, Wing, TCR, Barry, dyankee, and the rest of the youts to be most clever and 'amusing', to quote Vlad. I'm not too sure about you yet.

As for Hillary, she has attained a degree of extraordinary achievement in her life, and denigrating it is folly. Regardless of how you (or anybody else, for that matter) feel about her, and obviously one does not perceive any respect or appreciation for those achievements from you, politics aside - she is a force to be reckoned with.

Oh - When it comes to politics, I don't 'play into' anything. I reach a decision after lots of research, discussion, and deliberation. I try to avoid basing decisions and opinions on emotion, biases, prejudices, and preconceived notions. Don't you?
