The Bucs shot rounds of 166 and 163, easily besting the Falcons’ rounds of 190 and 198.
“It was a cold and drizzly day with frozen fingers and numb, wet feet, but the Bucs endured for two victories,” said coach Randy White. “The guys are playing well in these tough conditions.”
Reid Murphy shot rounds of 43 and 38, while Matt Nalley shot a 42 and a 43.
Evan Mowery chipped in with scores of 42 and 44; Alex Crandle shot a 47 and a 46; Maxwell Vance carded a 44; and Michael Aspenson shot a 48.
The Bucs will be sending a contingent to play at the Rockford Invitational on Saturday, then will compete in the O-K Red postseason tournament at Hudsonville on Tuesday. The Division 1 district tournament takes place next Thursday.
“I believe the team has worked hard and developed confidence that will take them into the postseason,” White said. “The great thing about this team is that any one of the guys can raise to the top to lead the Bucs on any given day. We have had six of our guys take over the No. 1 spot in matches during the year.”
