#1. ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE OF THE WHITE HOUSE

White House Struggles With Naming Foreign Policy Achievements, finally settling on:

Obama and Clinton succeeded in “ending the war in Iraq [and] responsibly winding down the war in Afghanistan.” He also cited ”the success of our efforts to dismantle and destroy al-Qaeda core.”

Meanwhile, at Obama's State Department, according to idiot spokesperson Jen Psaki: “our assistance enables Iraq to combat [ISIS] on the front lines, where hundreds of Iraqi security-force personnel have been killed and injured in that fight this year,”

#11. THE REAL OBAMACARE NUMBERS

U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services disclosed that 6 million of the 8 million people who signed-up for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) will be receiving healthcare from Medicaid that is so affordable it is free. The revelation that seventy-five percent of the expansion of health insurance is Medicaid comes just 48 hours after the Department of Health and Human Services said many of the other 2 million that had “purchased” insurance on HealthCare.gov“ may have received greater subsidies than merited or were allowed to purchase plans for which they were ineligible.”

Including many illegals due to Obama illegally attempting to change the law:

But a continuous Special Enrollment period is available to “An individual, who was not previously a citizen, national, or lawfully present individual gains such status.”

Lawfully present individuals according to the Obama Administration’s Executive Order for “Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors,” commonly referred to as “DREAMers,”

The DREAMer Executive Order has turned millions of illegal aliens into “lawfully present individuals” and is acting as a magnet for new illegal immigrants. http://americanthinker.com/blog/...

#2 Rhino Cantor jumps ship like so many other rats from the sinking ship recently.. or forced to walk the plank (or was he tossed overboard)

#9 I am curious as to what medical college the judge in the Casey Kasim trial went to that qualifies him to look over medical records and make a determination to allow starvation as a humane way of death.

I'm Nobody From...

Gotta love the tea party and how they are taking down the GOP. Two bumbling political groups without a future!

1. So it took 14 billion and thousands of lives to accomplish what? Carl Segan summed it up, our species all were born and died on this little blue dot the wars the evils the people searching for power the good the kind, all of us die right here on this little blue dot. Can we please put things into perspective and see our own mortality and try to make this little blue dot something to be cherished?

Straightjacket

Summarizing what Carl said! He was much more eloquent in his words, with all respect to him.

DO NOT FEED THE TROLL!

Barry Soetoro

Where's Lani at this morning? Hopefully she didn't follow through and have a Taco Bell breakfast...but that would explain her absence.

Lanivan

Hi. I'm taking Harry's advice of DON'T FEED THE TROLLS, and decided to comply, ever mindful of Harry's acid reflux and Vlad's heartburn....;-S

Harry Kovaire

Ask not for whom the belle trolls.
The belle troll is she.

Nice! Hey ~~ No ones talking about the new Libertarian, elitist, Hope College grad, theocratic devotee of atheist Ayn Rand upstart, economic professor who has no opinion on the minimum wage, David Brat. Any thoughts while doing those somersaults?

Tri-cities realist

Well lets start with his last name. If it is pronounced like a German sausage, I may support him. If it is pronounced like a spoiled child, I may not support him. Truthfully I don't know enough about him yet, so I won't comment yet. Sounds like you've made up your mind already.

Harry Kovaire

I thought you liked "nuanced" policies.

TCR & Harry ~~ (kudos again to Harry for reminding me of this lovely key)

It's hard to know when just 9% of registered voters in the Cantor/Brat district came out to vote, and apparently about 1/2 were Dems voting no against the unpopular Cantor in this open primary state.

Talk about nuanced! I was kinda excited about the possibility of a vote against the government corruption and cronyism that Cantor stands for, and a denunciation of corporate-controlled government. But then that little fantasy was put to rest when it was revealed that Brat's teaching job was financed by his buddy, the Libertarian head of the Cato Institute and the BB&T bank, who donated $500,000 to Brat to teach college students on the "moral ethics" of Ayn Rand.

But all this talk makes me want to prepare a nice dinner of German potato salad, sauerkraut, and Brats.

Harry Kovaire

Primaries rarely draw big turnouts among the American electorate, but then, you already know that. The Cantor-Brat contest actually was a big turnout, comparatively speaking.

65,000 ballots cast in 2014 Cantor-Brat primary. The other 2 Va. congressional primaries in Virginia on Tuesday garnered 38,855 in one and 17,444 in the other.

47,037 voted in Cantor's 2012 primary.

Lanivan

Excuse me while I bask in the afterglow of reading a Harry Kovaire reply that contains more than (1) short, abbreviated thought.......
