#1, #2 WHY OBAMA OWNS IRAQ AND THE LEFT WING LIES ABOUT IRAQ NOT WANTING US THERE

"Some Obama apologists argue that we could not maintain our military presence because the Iraqi government wanted us out, and thus would not negotiate a status of forces agreement with us. In reality, though, Iraqi prime minister Maliki and his government wanted a continued U.S. military presence, and it was Obama who never seriously negotiated for this to happen. His goal was a complete military withdrawal so he could boost that he ended the war in Iraq." ((Powerline) http://www.newyorker.com/reporti...

11. AFTER STONEWALLING CONGRESS ON SUBPOENA FOR LOIS LERNER EMAILS, AND THEN PROMISING TO PROVIDE THEM, OBAMA ADMINISTRATION NOW CLAIMS THEY CAN'T FIND THEM

Time for Lerner and other Obama Administration to do the perp walk to federal prison, and not Club Fed, until they tell the truth about targeting Conservative groups and involving Eric Holder's Department of Justice. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/irs-...

Why the claim of lost e-mails is preposterous http://www.powerlineblog.com/arc...

Barry Soetoro

I've come to the conclusion that there is simply no scandal that would shake the Obama groupies off his backside. Any one of the numerous scandals plaguing him would be enough to sink any Republican President into single-digit ratings, but Obama dances into the sunset on the shoulders of his adoring press.

Harry Kovaire

We have reached terminal velocity. No need to worry about increasing our rate of descent now, just the sudden stop when we hit the ground.

So, half-full of water air - just like you. That is deep.

Lanivan

I knew you'd appreciate it. Ponder to your hearts content.

Straightjacket

Actually I believe that is a reference to physics applied to an observation?

Lanivan

The Dems aren't happy with him - read some of the blogs. Not liberal enough. Should have gone with single payer, closed Gitmo, said no to the NSA, the GOP, Wall Street, and drones. I'm sure if a real, live scandal should ever materialize (not likely), don't despair - you just might get your wish.

Harry Kovaire

I am certain a real live scandal will never materialize. There is not a smidgen of corruption. The Attorney General has investigated himself and found no wrongdoing. We lost all of the emails anyways. What difference, at this point, does it make?

I am not for one minute implying that your empty-suited, Affirmative Action Candidate is a covert, enemy, Muslim, Marxist, traitor planted here to destroy this country.

However, if someone wanted to plant a covert, enemy, Muslim, Marxist, traitor to destroy the country, how would his tactics be any different?

Lanivan

He'd instruct his comrades to fly planes into buildings, make it so horrific the president and his peeps allow themselves to draw the country into a major "War on Terror", rather than respond to the criminal act that it was, thus attaining the goal of turning the country into an economically and politically polarized country of seething, violent tribal feudalisms, led by corporate-controlled government.

Goyo

So Vlad, is it better to boast that you ended the war in Iraq or that you started it? Please enlighten me, O Impotent One.

#1-#2. Shock & Awe - Mission Accomplished. Bush/Cheney/Neocons started the Iraq War based on outright lies to Congress and the American people, on the cheap, woefully underdeployed without enough military, materials, or armor. It began with no exit plan, with predictions the whole affair would be over in months and costing around $50 billion, and with a shocking lack of understanding of the Middle East, the Muslim people, or what the war would entail - 8.5 years of fighting, hundreds of thousands of American and Iraqi dead and maimed, trillions of dollars, and perhaps the biggest and most consequential military blunder in US history.

Bush & Co bought and broke Iraq. Bush & Co set up Maliki, and brokered an Iraqi Constitution, Parliment, and Army. The Iraqis continued to both depend on the US to be the middle man arbitrator, and to desperately want the US military presence gone. The new Iraq was unsustainable. The Sunni/Shia partnership broke down and became vulnerable to the inevitable invasion of Islamist terrorists, the Iraqi Army that the US spent billions on training, arming, and supporting broken and on the run.

Bush & Co rushed to open Pandora's Box, without a long-range strategy, improper and faulty assessment, and with a stunning disregard for the long-term implications of such action. The US will pay for this in a myriad of ways for a very long time.

Tri-cities realist

When will you and Obama stop blaming others? He has been POTUS for almost 6 years, it would be nice if he would man up and start actually solving some problems, rather than blaming someone else, or making things worse. But I guess that is what community agitators are trained to do.

Tri-cities realist

And your revisionist history is stellar.

Lanivan

And the GOP revisionist history? Right out of 1984. Iraq was a victory until Obama got involved, it would still be a huge US success story were it not for Obama. Obama's the evil, lawless liar that is destroying Iraq, and the rest of the world while he's at it. Obama, and Obama alone, no matter what he does, says, or promotes. Nothing. Else. Matters. In 1984.

The Federal debt increase? Had nothing to do with two unfunded wars waged simultaneously, topping off at $6-7 trillion! Iraq will cost us $50 billion - no more, no less. 8.5 years? No way! - months, at best.

If only we'd stayed in Iraq - full tilt! Vast majority of Americans oppose the war and want out? So what! We lied to them shamelessly and continuously before - we could do it again to justify continuous war.

Total commitment to breaking down a hot-bed of corrupt, seething, bloody, violent and century-old tribal feudalism and expecting it to turn around nicely once we prop it up with a president, military, constitution, and parliment? Why not? In Orwell's world, we can make it happen.

Goyo

Perhaps if we had killed a million Iraqis and thrown more like 20-30,000 of the bodies of our own dead children at them, it would have been enough for the Obama haters of the world.

Vladtheimp

Mission Accomplished . . . Ahem https://grabien.com/file.php?id=...

Lanivan

I think I get the picture. Had he not been a lawless liar and just told the truth - that there will never be peace in Iraq, that it was all for naught, that we'll just be dragged back in one of these days, and oh, by the way, since our troops are beyond exhaustion, I'll be starting up the draft real soon - I bet you would have voted for him in 2012, right?

Goyo

the only mission you'll accomplish is surfing porn in your basement.

Harry Kovaire

Welcome Goyo.

Goyo: noun

1. Someone extremely lazy, they pretend to work when approached, they give off a weird scent when they lie. They sometimes think they are invisible.

2. a guy who's always in a bad mood, grumpy at all times, sloppy in everything he does, never returns anything he borrows, still plays with tricycles and sand.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/d...

You are a nice addition to our little collection of Progressive trolls.

Lanivan

This is awkward. Goyo has been around for some time, giving Vlad attention. If you are just welcoming Goyo into the fold, that's means you are NOT actually Vlad on his laptop, which has been my assumption all along, hence my smart-a&& replies to you. My world of assumptions and intuition is crumbling.

Hehehehe.....have a good day, dear Harry!.......

Harry Kovaire

You fell for that pretty easily.

Lanivan

A dead giveaway (I thought) was that you don't reply to each other. But knowing Vlad as I do - which is not much, actually - I wouldn't put it past him to pull that out of his bag of tricks. Meanwhile, I will assume the worst and be on my best behavior befitting.....Harry Korvaire, sarcasm authority.

Barry Soetoro

How come Lani gets to use obscene language with symbols and I don't?

Lanivan

I can imagine it's quite a bummer, but knowing how you must suffer when going shirtless and girls with well-developed upper body muscles harass you, I would like you to consider buying this - might help you get over the 'moderator syndrome'.....ttp://www.zazzle.com/peace_love_bicycl...
