Crews are scheduled to be on site beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, to complete the resurfacing of the highway between the Grand River and Jackson Street in Grand Haven. All lanes will be open by 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to a City of Grand Haven statement.

If it can’t be completed in one night, lane closures will be put in place from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday to finish the work.

Additional nightly lane closures (between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.) for the entire stretch from Grand Haven to Muskegon are tentatively scheduled for later next week to allow for placement of new permanent markings.

During all of these closures, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
