Holland is Ready to screen ‘The Bird Cage’ on Friday night

Holland is Ready will conclude its 2010-11 free film series with a showing of "The Bird Cage' at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Park Theatre, 248 S. River Ave. in Holland. The comedy stars Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and Gene Hackman. Williams plays Arman Goldman, who owns a popular nightclub in South Miami Beach; and Lane plays his partner, Albert, who stars at the nightclub as Starina. Holland is Ready is a group working for the safety, rights and inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons in the Lakeshore area.
