“We are so pleased to have a tour of this caliber and especially excited about the special Easter show,” said the mission’s executive director, Kevin Newton. “NewSong is known for their amazing live performances and their ability to craft an incredible experience for the audience around the music. ‘Arise My Love’ and ‘The Christmas Shoes’ are two of their holiday songs that have become classics on both Christian and secular radio. We know that this concert will add a very special touch to this year’s Easter celebration for all who attend.”

Tickets are $10 and $15, and groups of 10 or more are $8.50 and $13 each. They are available at all Startickets locations (including area Meijer stores and Hage’s Christian Supplies), by phone at 800-585-3737, or online at www.startickets.com.

Proceeds from the show benefit the work of Muskegon Rescue Mission, which is in its 104th year of helping the homeless, helpless and hurting in West Michigan. It operates shelters for homeless men, women and children; and an extensive Community Ministries outreach which includes a food pantry, clothing, household goods and other assistance to help families avoid becoming homeless. All support comes from the donations of individuals, churches and businesses in West Michigan.

“The needs in our area have never been greater,” Newton said. “We are so grateful for the ongoing support of so many people who care about their neighbors.”
