Semi-retired pharmacist named to Village Council

Village Council will welcome David C. Bennett to a vacant council seat after a unanimous appointment on Monday night. Bennett, 62, of 917 W. Savidge St., Unit 34, is a semi-retired pharmacist. He fills the seat vacated by Ryan Kelly, who resigned because he moved out of the village. Kelly served on council since 2005. Bennett, a past school board president who has also served on state boards, is currently the chairman of the Grand Haven Community Center Board and treasurer of the Lake Pointe Condominium Association.
