Slight flooding is happening in Robinson Township now that the Grand River has gone above the 13.3-foot flood stage, according to the National Weather Service. An early morning reading taken Friday revealed the water level was at 13.4 feet. The forecast is for the water to level off at 14 feet between Saturday night and Sunday, then gradually go down over the next few days.
At 13.9 feet, several homes in Vanlopik subdivision are surrounded by water.
The river will fall below flood stage by early Wednesday morning.
