Grand River flood warning remains in effect

The flood warning for the Grand River at Robinson Township in Ottawa County and near Comstock Park in Kent County remains in effect today. The current forecast is for mostly dry weather and river levels should slowly recede through mid-week. At 7:05 a.m. today, the river level at Robinson Township was 13.6 feet, and minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. The flood stage there is 13.3 feet. The National Weather Service said Monday night that the river will fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
