Update: Grand River flood warning reduced to advisory

The flood warning for the Grand River at Robinson Township in Ottawa County has been downgraded to a flood advisory, which remains in effect until this afternoon. The flood warning for the Grand River near Comstock Park in Kent County remains in effect until Friday morning. At 9 p.m. Wednesday, the river level at Robinson Township was measured at 13.1 feet, just below the flood stage of 13.3 feet, and it is forecasted to continue the decline. The National Weather Service said it was expected to fall below its bankfull stage of 13 feet this morning.
