Driver Safety Class for seniors offered this week

Spring Lake District Library will be offering an AARP Driver Safety Class, designed for drivers age 50 and older, on Thursday and Friday. The two-part class will be held at the library, 123 E. Exchange St., from 1-5 p.m. both days. Instructor Paul Prinzing will talk about age-related physical changes and how to adjust your driving to allow for those changes. In addition to tuning up their driving skills, participants will also update their knowledge of the rules of the road. Some auto insurers offer a discount to those who successfully complete the class.

Pre-registration is required and there is a materials fee payable at the time of the class. The fee for AARP members is $12; the fee for nonmembers is $14.
