Loutit District Library to host photography class

Graphic designer and instructor Amanda Troyer will present a "Macro Photography' program from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Loutit District Library. Macro photography is the art of taking photos extremely close-up and making ordinary objects look larger than life. Troyer will teach how to zero-in on a small portion of a large subject to create an interesting abstract image; or fill the frame with a tiny subject such as flowers, nature and creatures like bugs and butterflies.
