‘Ghost & Mrs. Muir’ is Curator’s Choice for May

The Tri-Cities Historical Museum will feature the 1947 film "The Ghost & Mrs. Muir' for its Curator's Choice Movie at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22. It will take place at the museum's Akeley location, 200 Washington Ave. in downtown Grand Haven. The film is based on the R.A. Dick novel of the same name. A lonely widow, played by Gene Tierney, refuses to be scared by a ghost portrayed by Rex Harrison. Harrison plays a former sea captain who turns up in her cottage and helps her to write a novel about his experiences to help get her out of debt.
